- Request for Quotation (RFQ) system
- Order management
- Payment processing
- Communication tools
3. User Accounts
Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update any changes to your information
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Account Types
- Buyer: Can browse products, submit RFQs, and place orders
- Supplier: Can list products, respond to RFQs, and manage orders
4. Supplier Responsibilities
As a supplier on Afriqoma, you agree to:
- Provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing
- Maintain adequate inventory for listed products
- Respond to RFQs in a timely manner
- Fulfill orders as agreed upon
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
5. Buyer Responsibilities
As a buyer on Afriqoma, you agree to:
- Provide accurate shipping and contact information
- Pay for orders in accordance with agreed terms
- Communicate professionally with suppliers
- Not misuse the RFQ system
- Comply with import regulations in your country
6. Payments, Fees & Escrow Protection
Commission-Based Model
Afriqoma operates on a commission-based model with NO subscription fees:
- Platform Fee: 4% commission on successful transactions only. All subscription tiers include 1-month FREE trial.
- Seller Receives: 96% of transaction value after completion
- Listing: FREE - Unlimited product listings for all users
- Account: FREE - No monthly or annual fees
Contact & Communication
Our platform facilitates direct connections between buyers and suppliers:
- Free tier users receive 1 complimentary supplier contact
- Premium subscriptions provide additional contact allowances
- Buyer and seller can communicate directly after contact is established
Subscription Plans
Contact allowances are based on your subscription tier:
- Starter (Free): 1 supplier contact
- Basic: 10 supplier contacts per month
- Professional: 50 supplier contacts per month
- Enterprise: Unlimited supplier contacts
During promotional periods, premium tiers may be offered at reduced or no cost. Users are responsible for their own transaction negotiations with suppliers.
Dispute Resolution
Buyers may raise a dispute within the confirmation window if there are issues with the order. Our team reviews disputes within 48 hours. Evidence from both parties is considered before making a decision. Refunds are issued if the buyer's claim is valid.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By using our payment services, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Seller payouts are processed after successful transaction completion.
7. Prohibited Activities
You may not use Afriqoma to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
- Sell prohibited or restricted items
- Harass or abuse other users
- Circumvent our fee structure
- Use automated systems to scrape data
- Introduce malware or harmful code
8. Intellectual Property
The Afriqoma platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Afriqoma Global Trade Hub. Users retain ownership of their own content but grant us a license to display and distribute it on our platform.
9. Dispute Resolution
For disputes between buyers and suppliers:
- We encourage direct communication to resolve issues
- Our support team can assist in mediation
- Afriqoma is not responsible for the quality of goods or services provided by suppliers
10. Limitation of Liability
Afriqoma provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the past 12 months.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

- Create Account: Sign up as a Buyer or Supplier. Free to register, no credit card required.
- Browse & Search: Explore products from 40+ verified suppliers across 54 African countries.
- Contact Suppliers: Use your contact credits to access supplier details (email, phone, company info).
- Request Quotes: Send RFQs directly to suppliers for pricing and availability.
- Place Orders: Complete orders with secure payment through our platform.
- Track Shipments: Monitor delivery status from pickup to destination.
Pricing Tiers:

- • Basic ($29/mo): 50 supplier contacts/month
- • Professional ($100/mo): 200 contacts + Priority support
- • Enterprise ($150/mo): Unlimited contacts + Dedicated manager

14. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
